    Books are my hobby.

    That para is a cut and paste, with a few changes, of something I have posted, in some form, many times before here, and reflects maybe 15 years of reading in the area of Henry and his Great Matter.

    Other opinions may differ, but mine is, IMO, an informed one.

    Dear GKC,
    do you remember my question about "Lepanto" and its bird? Now I wonder if you could be so kind again to solve one more perplexity of mine. The problem is the meaning of line 10 in GFK's poem "The Donkey" which, as you know, reads:
    "Of ancient crooked will".
    I think it means "very obstinate since I was born". Am I correct?
