Samuel is not mine - he is my nephew that is My S-I-L in the picture with him.
My oldest who just turned 22 is blind and mentally handicapped but had no other medical issues.
My Sil and BIL along with my in-laws are very fundamentalist.
I'll check out your blog soon, Deeny. How wonderful that your whole family has now been received into the Church. What a blessing! I'm the only Catholic in my family and I don't see any particular signs that anyone else is moving in that direction. I keep praying and trying not to preach at 'em. Oy, sometimes that's the hardest thing not to do! Welcome home! (I think I said it before, but I love sayin' it.)
....................Okay, I did check it out and wow! I'll be going back there to read some more, Deeny. And I am profoundly moved by what I have read of your story so far. Talk to ya later. Give my kindest regards to your family and a big warm hug to all and especially to Samuel. Whatta guy!
Howdy, fellow Southerner. I'm in Alabama, where are you? (You don't have to answer if you'd rather keep that private. I quite understand.) And welcome home!! Woohoo! Don't you love being Catholic? I sure do!
