Hey, Friar David ... ! So nice to see you on line. I hope that means you are getting much better and on your road to full recovery. I'm going to believe that, anyway. I just had a total knee replacement and am not doing much posting due to the pain in sitting.
God bless you!
Hello, Friar David. I wanted to know if you would message me and help me with a very serious personal problem? I know you are busy, but for once I actually have a legitimate problem. I understand if you do not wish to, though. Thank you.
I have just recently entered the confraternity of the Brown Scapular - is there any information, or references you can give me to help me uphold my duties - thanks and God bless!
Hello, Brother David. I wanted to know if you would answer a question of mine? During Confession, I often remember more sins immediately after I say "And these are my sins" and Father starts giving me advice and a penance. Should I tell him them before I say the Act of Contrition? This also happens often when I am saying the Act of Contrition, and I am wondering whether or not I should mention it after he has absolved me, or if I should simply wait for next time?
Please answer before Saturday morning if you can. I am going to Confession tomorrow at eleven. I will understand if you are too busy, though.
Hello, Brother David. I just wanted to tell you that, to my delight, I now have an official spiritual director. Thank you for pushing me to get one. I'm sure I will be very thankful that I have one soon.
