Hi mlz - just checking in to say hello, and wondering if your cracked ribs are improving? I'm hoping you can at least feel hopeful that cracked ribs are a temporary problem, since you have some other things which are more long term. They are a little less fun, right? I'll be praying for you tomorrow and any intentions you have. I hope you have a wonderful day in Jesus!
Hi Mary-thanks for accepting my friendship request. I am a revert and I have found there is a much deeper understanding and appreciation of how God uses suffering in our lives in the Catholic church than most other places. That has offered encouragement and hope to me in my challenges, and was one of the several things that brought me back to the CC. I'll keep praying for you, dear sister.
We do learn from suffering from pain. We certainly can always ask for the "cup to be removed" (as did our Lord) but sometimes there is purpose in suffering...something I never realized before. Perhaps He has lessons for me to learn?
I'm not sure what is going on but the cracked ribs are producing more pain than before. I am lifting this to the Lord and am hoping for some relief, I'd appreciate prayer.

Mary, I have been thinking about you and praying. You are such a dear...Please let me know how you are doing after the allergy attack. How very frightening! May the Lord restore you to health....
Still not home, heading to see a doctor tomorrow for allergies. I had a close call where I couldn't breath and need to find out why this happened. Pray that the doctor I see will be given wisdom to help me. thank you.
I've been gone so much this summer. I try to get on a computer when I can but I'm in and out of home often. Prayers for all my dear friends at CAF whether I post or not.
