Why is it that their are people who cannot accept the magisterial pronouncements even before Vatican 2 on invincible ignorance? Urgh all they are doing is regurgitating the dogmatic pronouncements and ignoring the Church's own explanation!!!! AAARGH.

I am glad I could give you a laugh, brother! Perhaps your founder was correct in saying that Perfect Joy consists in being rejected for Christ's sake... but I say Perfect Joy consists in generating a smile on a stranger's face, and making that stranger happy. Your litany of professor-saints is very helpful, and I shall give them full consideration. What more can I do but thank you, and wish you a happy-belated-birthday?

It is a blessed day indeed when I can see and know the happiness of a Franciscan brother! The Franciscans of Halifax are very joyous too, and do not hesitate to give me their embrace when they see me. Lovely order, gracious society!
