If you like "Right Turns" by Medved, there is a book named "How I accidently joined the vast right-wing conspiarcy and found inner peace" by Harry Stein. It's extremely funny and soul searching.

Actually I agreed with your statement completely.
Like i had a friend in Sweden who was always telling me socialism was just great. No worries about medical care , the state pays you to go to school, the police don't prey on the poor , etc.
Yes, the American taxpayer has underwritten Swedish defense for 60 years. And why , by the way ?
Because we underwrote Hitler and the Bolsheviks.
Like we financed Saddam Hussein and Manuel Noriega , like we financed the Mujaheddin ( The Taliban and Osama Bin Laden )
But maybe you wouldn't go that far ?
Anyway , I don't trust socialism any further than I can throw it.
