I accidentally hit your profile, and then I noticed you don't say where you are from, not even from which country. Even though it's not necessary, I can't help wondering: "Are you from the U.S,A,?" If not, which country are you from?
You certainly ask interesting questions, and provoking ones for us to reflect about... In answering you the way I do, I want you to know that it's not out of intending to try to convert you, I know that you would feel it and resent it. Let's say you kinda force me to say more than I would normally do, because you really sound like you are really after the teachings of our Church and seems to have taken on yourself the task to destroy our faith in Jesus whom we believe with all our heart to be the Messiah that Israel has been expecting for so long. You would come with things that are really not serious, solid proof against our Faith. I am interested in Truth.
You may be sincere, but I have no way to know for sure... but you certainly take things for granted in Judaism. Is it because the teachings are so many? One can lose track of main things there, so I am glad your Sages came up with rules for interpreting the Biblical passages!
Anyhow, Shalom to you and your family!
