    Dear Tierney,
I am all alone, too. Maybe we can be alone together.

Please pray for my son and his wife who are trying to sell their house. It's not about financial gain but it has become an urgent need. Thank you.

to the thread "ugly thoughts" or something close to that.....I have the exact same problem with my thoughts.....envy, lack of compassion, judgmental, just mean spirited! I ask for grace to overcome it and also ask the Holy Spirit to do what I cannot do. But I think maybe I am where I am meant to be....my progress is slow for a reason.
I do say and over and over when my mind is just stuck on ugly thoughts...."Create in me a new heart...revive the right spirit within me" and it does seem to clear them out for awhile. Hope this helps!

On the 21st, I think, you posted a question about questioning the basis for our relationships with God...as someone with some awakening about the reasons for my unhealthy emotional state, I can relate to what you ask...am I, do I, try to get closer to God because of some need related to my condition? I think the answer can be 'yes', but for me, that may not be a bad thing. God reaches all of us differently, & based on where we are, what we have gone thru. Write back if you want to continue a discussion on this. God Bless you in your struggles...
