hey greg! how are you?
is been a while since i said hello!!
so what have you been up to? hows life?
ps - its amerie! sorry for the confusion! hmm..my other account, i cant recall the password! lol ><
january was a rough month for me, as my paternal grandfather passed away suddenly. he was out walking and slipped on the ice. we don't know for sure if it was the impact of the fall or a heart attack that caused him to fall. he was the first close person that i had ever lost. but the retreat i helped at the beginning of august really helped me move on past that. i have every reason to believe my grandfather is in heaven, and while i miss him, it's getting easier.
so...tell me about what you've been up to! i'm sure you've been busy! (it forced me to put this into two messages lol). yeah, i've been on here for awhile, but haven't posted much lately.
hey greg! yeah, it's been forever lol. things have been going great...how about you? i started college about a month ago, and i love it here at benedictine college. the friends are great, the classes are all right (for the most part lol), and there's always something going on, which i love.
i've had some ups and downs the past few months, but it's been going good now. i dated a guy for about 5 months, and then decided to break it off in july...we were just too different. he and i didn't see eye to eye on some important things. now i've come to college, and in some of the guys, i see what i was missing. must i also admit that i have taken a liking to a certain guy...but that's all i'll say.
Yes, the elderly. Great people..very loving!! There's lot of stuff you can do to help them. You don't even have to get a job you can just volunteer at a nursing home for two hours every week or whatever. You'll really get something out of it, promise!
That's great! I'll pray you do well on your exams...=]
Oh, at university now. We're too grown up and mature to even use smilies, aren't we? That's not the greg I use to talk to. Just kiddin. I'm glad you like it!!
Things are great with me (and the nellster). I'm on the college search myself...I think I know where I'm going and what I want to study. I even plan on going to grad school for psychology. But I have a whole other year to finalize things so for now I'm just trying to finish school and enjoy the summer! I'm working with the elderly again this break. Fun stuff.
gregg!!! omgosh ur on no way!! whaz up how did those tests go? i prayed for u - wait r u done with high school yet?!? w0w i haven't talked to u all summer! hope life rocks!
nat
yeah...exchange student from tajikistan. although it would probably be nicer if my best friend hadn't taken a picture of us two slow dancing and posted it on facebook. oh well...
lol well i am glad that you have most of the testing out of the way (i'm sure you are too!). it's always nice to have some time to relax. now i'm the one who's busy. today i visited a college (university of nebraska-lincoln) and thought it was very nice...i really think i could enjoy it there. interesting seeing the contrast between the small college and the large university. i will be applying there sometime soon.
more news...a couple weeks ago i received my acceptance letter to benedictine college in kansas, which was exciting. that was the first college that i fell in love with, so this is going to be a hard decision. so please pray for me as i discern my next step, ok? thanks..
