    Hi Don!,
    I hope all is well.
I had a rough day, with allergies(normally have almost none, once in a blue moon),but this rainy season everybody is in the same boat, pretty much saying the same thing.
also I stayed sort of laid up, as I caught a bit of angina, as the doc says for me, in reality and to say to myself...distressing not dangerous. mine comes from couple minor arterial defects that have become exacerbated with normal aging. I had the big roto-rooter about 8 months back, so I know there's nothing really dangerous in there, but it's anxiety provoking and quite uncomfortable..I took some medicine and now just feel pooped.this is also a time when having a wife who is a doctor too...really comes in handy....well that's about it, just thought I'd touch base. Peace...Mart.

    Hi Don,
    I hope all went well.
    I'm feeling a bit lousy/guilty here.
I like to keep things neat , orderly. My car, old locker, tool shed.
Also I do the same with my Yahoo Mail and other computer stuff.I keep things for a few days to a couple weeks at most, then clean up the area. Occasionally I save an email with sentimental or functional value bt putting it in a "keep file".
So, I figured I would do the same with my CAF message board. Mistake.
The results were awful..they ask you why you want to delete first.
Now I have a page full of messages that say I deleted them and why(to be neat etc.) still with the senders name on them..I had kept a couple originals from you and Metzler. a lot of them have your name and it looks like I just threw them away. That was not my intention.
A big OOOPS... I won't do that again.
    God Bless

Hi Don, Thank you for sharing your experiences with me. I'm honored by your trust and impressed by your courage.
Concerning the tobacco problem I think I may have a solution.. I'm going to send you a private message on that theme.
I'm going to steal your line here.
    God loves you. Martin.

PS Don...I'm going to pray on your intentions with the smoking(an,either way you want it to go, strength prayer).
I'll go with my favorite on this one, 'Our Lady of Fatima"...
.You know ,I like to fire up a Missouri Meerschaum Corn Cob Pipe every now and again.
I use a cherry blend called Middletons...I gave up the cigarettes about 4 years ago and I like the occasional pipe...just have to learn not to inhale. (and watch out for "tongue bite") Peace. Mart.

    Hi Don Snow,
Well I appreciate the advice....when I retired I made "the big confession", I got a really nice younger priest, and he said "Oh... ,I've heard about these, cop confessions, they can get complicated, can I make a call, to a friend who has had some experience with these?" sure I said.....he calls bla bla ..."ok martin, my friend said given your basic info so far, he says I should line you up with 4 ---- 2 hour blocks, that should cover it". I made it in three (6hours)....But since, I have received the last rights twice, for operations, one related to an old LOD injury. So we'll see... LOL Thanks for asking about Sam, she is really bouncing back! Good luck with the AC!
    God Bless....Peace...Martin

Hi Don Snow, sorry I didn't get back sooner, but have a 4mos old Lab pup that had picked up a bad stomach infection so it's been a long touch and go 2weeks+ w/a few all nighters, but Thank the Lord, it looks like she's(Sam) going to be ok. I'm just getting back to the pipes after taking 10years off,got to get my "fingers" back. and have to send my pipes to hospital for a full rehab, no bother, I need a lot of time on practice chanter. I have been to Dallas and Ft.Worth in 1982. it was fun. I don't know how long Marions in for,in purgatory, but if it's a long stretch, I'll be seeing him as keeping the public safe(old style) required ironically, a lot of sinning on the good-guys part.
Well good talking to ya. God Bless. Peace. Martin.

    Hi Don Snow,
Thank you for accepting my friend request. I noticed in your bio, you like bagpipe music. So do I, I was a Piper in the PD band in NY, for just over 10 years.
    Thanks again Martin.
