I am glad to be part of a group that chooses to veil (and/or use other head coverings) for Mass, etc. I feel right at home here.

I have questions about discerning the desire to veil during Mass and Eucharistic adoration.

I am a cradle Catholic, 23 years old...I was out of communion with Rome for 4-5 years, but am now JOYFULLY Catholic again. What an amazing gift our faith is!

I have never veiled before in my life, but in my new parish home, there are a few women who veil - and they are not old ladies, but rather young mothers, young students...it really took my breath away.

I have been thinking about veiling, but I have no idea where to start, other than pray. Maybe I should ask the other veiling women how they arrived at that choice. It's beautiful, but I want to make sure that I am approaching the practice from a modest, loving perspective (and not too sociopolitical).

I have come to you since it seems that you are very active on the forums and very active in a group that discusses veiling. Thank you in advance - you're in my thoughts and prayers.
