Yes..South Africa. It's a very beautiful country. Can tell you lot's (if only we had time,) about all the safari's I've been on, one where I was the cook; and have travelled this country and Zimbabwe (amazing game and countryside, the great Baobab trees the size of houses), lost count of the camp fires I've sat and mostly cooked around. These all back in the mists time before I had my children, oldest now 23. Anyone visiting here from CAF simply has to look me up!!

I'm sure it will go well, no harm in trying. Your name is much seen at the moment, being the last poster on that group, so it will be familiar to others when it appears on the Newest Group message wall.(that's why I suggested keeping the name similar, try a 'word play' for name e.g. very funny club etc.)

I'm also got very busy just lately. I think it would be better if you started the group, there are lots of young people visiting this site and think it should be a reflection of the type of humor that age group enjoys today. Will make a change from that of the older generation. I'm happy to help keep an eye, if you get busy or can't do for a few days. Just have to let me know, that's all.
Can't seem to post on your favorite book thread..? Maybe a 'glitch' of some kind. If it happens again, I will try to contact the forum admin and let them know.

Hi Laura, hope all well with you. I keep noticing your name on the popular group messages for The Very Fun club when I browse the front page, so I can't forget you. Haha!
Just an idea, (don't want to nag, but maybe I am), why not start a group called The Very Fun Fun Club. It will appear for a while in the Newest Group section, and possibly it will be as popular?

Thanks for the reply. Being a prayer warrior is hard work, but has it's rewards in many different ways.
Once a member of that group you are able to post to those threads, we all do, me it seems moreso than others. The previous persons post simply gets replaced by the most recent. It seems there is enough room on the wall for each thread, just only shows the most recent one.
Let me know when you post about favourite books, or whatever.
I have joined a group, Short Story Competition and Workshop that has just started.
Although my story not ready yet, members are able to look at and comment on other stories in the workshop. I'll hang around there and see if anything interesting comes up.
I am beginning to enjoy discussing the Pope's book, it seemed like hard work at first. Take a look at the CBC Discussion for quotes from the book to see if you like it enough to buy one and join in.
