Good morning! What good timing you have! I haven't been on here for a couple of months until yesterday. Since I commented on a forum, I came back today to check it.

I am well. My major activity is taking care of my parents these days. Mom just turned 88 and Dad will be 90 in September. I don't spend as much time with them as I feel I should, but spend a lot of time taking care of things like prescriptions, etc. when I'm not with them.

I do remember Horgan and I have missed him since the day he left. I miss talking to the friends I have/had on here. So many people have gone. It looks like 15 months is a good average for people to last on here.

I'm glad you are doing well. Your strength does come through even online.I always knew you'd come through your hard times well.

Love you. God bless you and your family.

Hi aleema , most of what you quote here is taken from the old testament. Taken in context the bible shows God loving sinners dearly - so much so he sent his son to die for us. Our understanding of the word hate is not the same as the way it is translated . Yes god hates sin but he does not need appeasing . I write this only because I think this misinterpretation makes people fear God and we are called to" to not be afraid" with great love

the book of leviticus chap 26/ 14 Punishment for disobedience "the Lord said, if you will not obey my command you will be punished.
Book of numbers 14/26 The Lord punishes the people for complaining.
    Book of Deuteronomy 2
    The Lord punishes israel
The Lord heard your complaints and became angry and so he solemnly declared not one of you from this evil generation will enter the fertine land that i promised to give your ancestors..
Theses are only a few examples i have given you there are many more..
not to mention Christ in the temple where he shows his anger at the money changers..
SO yes God does get angry and must be apeased as Christ himself dictated to Sr Mary of Saint peter, offering his adorable face covered with blood sweart dust and spittle will make the Father smile. and so aprease his anger at sin which is uguly sinner will be saved through the mercy of Jesus.
