    Hi theistgal,

    I'm flattered. It's fine.

See and I see you at the bottom of a tree, shaking the tree and rousing discussion among the occupants!

Hi theistgal! --- I was just looking at some of your posts on some of the atheist posts - you really impress me with the way you speak the truth in charity - this is a very special gift! God Bless!

I guess my atheism might be indirectly connected. I don’t believe that humans were created in the image of God or that animals were created for our use. Of course we’re a lot more powerful and intelligent than other animals, but I don’t believe that might makes right.

Yeah I could see how going vegan could cause you to think about a variety of things. One thing that would cause me a lot of problems if I was to become Christian is the problem of animal suffering. I just don’t see why God would set up the world so that innocent animals had to suffer.

I’m just lacto-ovo. I’ve thought about being vegan, but it seems like it would be really tough, especially when eating out.

Thanks! It can definitely get pretty rough sometimes, and it’s nice to hear that there are other people like me who want to hear what the other side has to say. I looked at a few of your posts and you seem like a pretty reasonable person.

By the way, congratulations on becoming a vegetarian. I became one a few years ago and have never regretted it.
