I have been saving up to purchase a searchable library of Church Documents, for the purpose of researching apologetic issues. I would like to use it on both my IPad and PC. Is there such a thing, without breaking my piggie bank? Can you advise me on who to talk to about the same, if you don't know? $400 - $500.
Thanks
Hi Jimmy, my friend Luis and I are stumped on a Fatima question, maybe you can help. Who said we should pray for the reparation of sins against the Immaculate heart of Mary? Does this refer to Mary's 7 sorrows suffered on earth or to new sins against Mary after Our Mother's death and ascension? Are these sins specific types of sins?
How do I explain to a Calvinist the Issue of "Universal Bishop" statement by Gregory the VIII? And yes, I have Fathers Know Best, Pope Fiction and prolly the whole library of CA...
Hello,
I have a question about Lucifer and Satan. First, where in the Bible is the story of the angels fall from Heaven and this fall is due to Lucifer right? Then who is Satan and what is his relationship to Lucifer. Also, if Lucifer fell why is he called the "angel of the morning star?" One more thing somewhere I ready Jesus call The Son of the Morning star. These things have me confused, could you help straighten me out? One red head to another? ;-)
I realize this isn't a question on faith and morals, but I'm not sure who else to ask. I am wondering if you know anything about the book "The Healing Code" by Alexander Loyd. A friend of mine is very excited about it and after a brief search on the internet I'm not sure what to think. From what I understand the author is a Christian and claims to have been divinely inspired with this method of prayer to bring healing. If you have any information on this I'd really appreciate it.
I recently heard on Catholic Answers an apologist say that because of Mary's immaculate conception, Mary did not experience concupisence. This does not make sence to me. Did not Christ being fully man and fully God experience all that man experienced (including concupience) with the exception of original sin, so that He could demonstrate (model) that by God's gifts of free will and grace mankind could reject the temptation and draw of sin? So, if Mary did not experience concup ense (which weakens the will to reject temptation), how could she also be a model for mankind not having experienced all that mankind experienced?
Hi Jimmy, I recently purchased the Logos 4 Catholic scholars library. I've been reading Joseph Pohle's Dogmatic treatise on the Sacraments. I just want to make sure he is reliable. He seems right on. Thanks
How do I come back to my pro-abortion daughter when she says I need to adopt babies if I'm pro-life. I disagree that my tax money should pay for abortions, support planned parenthood. Her comeback is to shut up and adopt babies. I can't get her 35-y-o brain to see that abortion is murder, and if I'm pro-life the answer must be for me to "adopt babies." How do I get past this argument: adopt adopt adopt. PS I'm 57 and done having kids of my own. I have three grandkids from her.
