Hello,
I am having one of my "depression insomnia" attacks. For some reason, I cam to Catholic Answers and just happened to read your message to me from many weeks ago. You probably don't remember it even! But, no worries. I just wanted you to know that those few perfect words seemed to lift me from my doldrums and I believe that I will start my next day (AFTER I force myself to get some sleep) in the most positive direction that I can. Things that bug me I will quickly replace with the creatures on earth who NEVER hurt or disrespect me, my cats :-) Actually, I love each and every one of them, even though I have too many. No, I am not a hoarder, but I can see how easy it is that it happens. When you meet one that needs you and is so affectionate, they are difficult to let anyone else parent. Mine give me great comfort and I am reminded of God's love through their precious beings.
Thank you again for what you said and for making me think.
Hi how are you ...so much has changed in my life...went through such a dark period..but sometimes when some of us like me, go through times of spiritual darkness..when we finally come to our senses..lol...his light shines within us so much brighter..trying to get back into the group...(Poems and Reflections).I am going back to college for Theology...want to teach it and join religious life as a deacon in the Episcopal faith..but I love my Catholic Friends..I was Roman Catholic..I have a calling I have fought since a teen...God bless you
Each breath is a gift and a prayer. An offering up to God, and a prayer of thanks. As the body is sustained by oxygen, the soul draws spiritual breath through prayer. To pray is to inhale and draw God closer, And to exhale is to give thanks. ~ Alexalee
Thank you all for stopping by my page and posting! I have been going through some major life changes... I am in the process of moving to South Dakota to care for my elderly Mom and Dad. I am selling all my stuff including computer and online time is very limited for me right now (I use the library for internet when I can), but I will try to stop by for a quick visit now and then, and eventually I will be able to afford to be back on line... soon I hope!
God Bless you all in the new year!
