I can't understand the attacks against Mary in the christian communities that are not ancient ones.
All I can say, is you do a great job in trying to reason with fellow christians on the merits of Mary.
I personally think she is far more approachable than even God for me at the moment.
But, I leave that open for a little bit longer.
In any event, I would like to say that I am glad in my heart that I at least can see that there is very much sense in a Mary as catholics believe if one believes in God.
It's the only thing that keeps my interest now, and my interest admittedly is waning.
Who wouldn't want a mother like her? I would say most object because they value their own human mother more than the one that bore their Messiah, if I could guess.
