I'm glad to have you join in these discussions with us! I have a good friend that is a very conservative Episcopalian priest, and he reminds me of the historic richness, and indeed orthodoxy, that is present in that communion, which I'm always reminded of when I read your posts.

    Hi Edwin-

Thanks for your posts, if a discussion of just war comes up. I would like to hear what you have to say. Thanks for your posts and I appreciate what you are saying and am mostly in agreement. I agree that it is to simplistic to say that religion is the root of all war and it would need a much more thorough discourse. Thanks Mike

    Edwin,
This weekend I purchased The Stripping of the Altars by Dr. Eamon Duffy.

Are you familiar with the book? Good, bad, otherwise? Any thoughts?

Re: Are capitalistic and conservative ideals sinful?
Yet again my friend, I'm reading a thread and who has the most reasonable, valuable response.... by far the most clarity on Christan view! Thank you again!

Once again, finding a thread (Ann C.) where you are the Christian voice of reason, over and over again.... thank you for speaking out so appropriately -

    Hello, Edwin.
I want to thank you for your presence here. (Even when--as us ex-holiness "kids" will do--we fight'n'scratch ;-) I always enjoy reading your posts).

I'm still smarting a bit from that trip to the woodshed, but I appreciate it nonetheless. I too appreciate your posts here on the forums. God bless
