This person needs your help. Perhaps you can help him as he seems a bit desperate. http://forums.catholic.com/showthread.php?t=623698

    One of my published reflections

    The Rose
One day while walking,I noticed along the sidewalk a single rose.
The beautiful rose stood proudly alone, strong and firmly grounded.
The roses sparkling dew trickled downward and flowed from petal to stem.
As I walked,I began to think of how this rose reminded me of Jesus.
The gospel of our Lord has stood strong and proud throughout time like the rose.
The roses dew reminded me of the many tears Jesus has shed for us all.
The roses red petals reminded me of the everlasting love that flows from his divine heart..Kelly O'Mara

Hi Pathwalker, I just joined this group and had written this poem for our priest`s 50th anniversary which we will celebrate with him tomorrow. So I thought I`d post it.

    Fr. Ed`s 50th Anniversary

For 50 years, dear Fr. Ed,
You have served our precious Lord.
So now it`s time that we have said,
We thank You, Lord, for Fr. Ed.

    Though many trials and tribulations,
    Beset you time and again,
    You bravely faced the situations,
Holding back the hurt and pain.

    Many struggles you have suffered,
    While serving here with pride,
    But many have been buffered,
    By kindness on every side.

    We respect the quiet ardor,
You`ve shown to both our parishes,
From the children at the altar,
To the members of the choirs.

So on this special day of love,
    That God has truly blessed,
In communion with the saints above,
Our hymns and songs we sing our best.

Dear Pathwalker, I have only just noticed your message. (I am a computer numpty!) I am pleased you find my poems inspirational. They were all written at a time when my son was undergoing an operation and had to spend over 2 years lying in bed. I had to sit with him 24/7 and I just opened my heart to the Lord during the long hours. The poems were the result.
    Love and blessings, Rosemary
