Roman catholic, but how I practice my faith is much less traditional. I focus on the Trinity, seek a personal relationship with Christ, pray freeform as well as formally. I'm keenly interested in evangelization to the person of Christ, and don't practice traditional devotions to the saints (though I often thank God for their example and prayers).
Two books that have inspired me in this direction:
"The Born-Again Catholic" by Albert Boudreau
"The Imitation of Christ" by Thomas a Kempis
We attend St. Bernadette parish, by the barracks, usually. My wife's family is spread all over teh area so we'll often attend Mass with them.
It's always great to craft with kids! They always have such a great way to look at things. Not always what I think it should be at the time but when I get time to reflect on it things kinda make sense. Paper mache is always fun with younger ones!
