OH! you live where it is warm, i live where it is cold, and you can have fun in the snow, sliding and snow boarding ans skiing and ice skating and camp fiers that feel soooo good to circle around and talk, and joke and look up at the stars and watch the full moon and hear the snow crunch beneath your feet. I've been wanting to get my hands on a good, uptodate, unbiased book on the history of the Catholic Church. I have so many questions. I'm 66 and have forgotten most of what I learned in high school. Like, what really happened regarding the Crusades? How did the papacy start (I know Peter was the beginning), but when and how did it actually come about having a pope? Etc.
