Trishie, this is an exciting time for us, as our younger daughter is expecting our first grandchild in just a few weeks. She's had a scare or two during the pregnancy, as you know, but all seems well; Lord willing we will have a healthy little grandson very soon. We continue to pray that our elder daughter and her husband will soon be blessed with a baby, as well. God bless you and yours. Love, Marie

Marie, thank you for your prayers and your message. It's good to have your warm contact.
How wonderful to see your Dad and find him so cheerful. He is around the same age as my Dad who died last June just before his 89th. I know how lovely it is to spend time with one's Dad! I'm sorry to hear that he has increasing infections, which is distressing for you, as well as for him.
I hope and pray everything else is going well for your family? God bless you and everyone, love,

    Trishie

    Hi, Trishie,

My daughter is sitting right beside me, as she and her husband joined us for Thanksgiving dinner today. She had an ultrasound last week, at about 18 weeks, and all looked well. She is still awaiting blood test results, as she had been exposed to cytomegalovirus, which can be dangerous for unborn children. We are hoping the blood test shows that she is already immune to the virus; she should know this week. She is in an audiology grad program, and comes in contact with many children; one recent patient apparently had the virus. Though she didn't touch the child, there is always concern, though chances are the baby is fine.

Thank you for your concern. God bless you and your family, as well.

    Marie

I hope little Amelia is doing well still now that she is at last home with her family.

And that all is well with you and all your loved ones.

Hi, thanks so much. She is doing quite well, all things considered. She works with a program that helps homeless pregnant women, so she is surrounded daily by pregnant moms and babies, which is tough, but she is resilient. She has a good pro-life doctor and will see her soon to see if any precautions need to be taken (progesterone) if she becomes pregnant again soon. Thanks so much for asking. Otherwise, we're good - cold here in Mobile, but it feels like Christmas. God bless!
