I'm so sorry about losing your companion of 19 years. I lost a 19 year-old 2 months ago. I recently moved so she is not associated with this house but I still miss her peacefulness. She was never a cuddly cat and was very independent except for mealtimes. I have 2 other cats so that softened the blow. God bless.
