Hey Rinnie, I believe the mods figured out that Andrew was a troll, or at least behaving in a very trollish manner, and closed the thread for the good of everyone who was getting stirred up by the ordeal.

    Glad to hear it!!

'Pray with great confidence, with confidence based upon the goodness and infinite generosity of God and upon the promises of Jesus Christ. God is a spring of living water which flows unceasingly into the hearts of those who pray.'

    St. Louis Marie de Montfort

    A quote for the day.

    Rinnie:

Always has said that she does not want to be taught. (I saw it when you quoted her, I have her on ignore.) To not want to be taught is to prefer the ignorance of one's own opinion, and is accompanied by an arrogance that is breath-taking. I am on one hand impressed by your patience that you are still willing to dialogue with her, (mine ran out long ago). On the other hand I am frustrated out of my mind and need to ask, "Why are you and the other Catholics on the thread still talking to her?" She has totally highjacked the thread from the original poster's subject. That didn't bother me, when it appeared to merely a temporary side trip, but now she has grabbed the thread and wrapped it around herself to focus it on her false doctrine OSAS. Forgive me if I sound testy, but watching her distort Scripture and force it into supporting her heresy makes me a trifle insane.

Where in her philosophy does discipleship fit? Can one reach heaven without being a disciple of Jesus? Disciple and discipline come from the same word, discipline is directly attached to obedience. Did you know that the first and last thing Jesus ever said to his disciples was "Follow me"? But if one is saved regardless of what you do, why follow if it is inconvenient or unpleasant? I know, I'm preaching to choir here, but I have allowed Always to frustrate me.

Have a good Good Friday, and thank you for letting me vent.
