I saw your posting on Mormons doubting because of the internet. Not that long ago I had a friend that thought about converting to Mormonism from being a Catholic. I read about the hoaxes of Mormonism to help stop him from making that mistake. So I was just wondering if you could tell me a little bit about the differences you noticed when you converted to being Catholic compared to being Mormon.

Again that can differ from parish to parish considering how their RCIA program is set up. Some are set up for once a week, sometime 2x. When you get settled and find a parish, ask to speak to the RCIA director and discuss you concerns and needs.

When I went thru, and because our RCIA "class" was so small, we started out once every other week, and then went to once a week.

That all sounds so exciting? Did you have to go multiple times a week or was it usually a once a week thing? Im trying to start my career when I get back I know I'll have weekends when I first start so Ill have those. Im excited to find a parish and start my RCIA. I have a few bibles so Im good with that

Hey Marie, Thanks for all your help so far I did have one quick question. I feel kind of dumb asking this because it seems like something I should already know but, do you get baptized before RCIA? I was under the impression that you had to go through RCIA before getting baptized.
