I've been watching that long .....well, I can't really call it a debate . Genuine debate requires some sincerity on the part of both parties.

Anyway, I wonder if you are starting to get some idea of why I say that Atheists aren't mistaken , or mislead. It's intentional .
They DO see evidence of a creator.

That's all I'll say. I rather suspect you don't much like my "pessimistic " and "cynical" tone.

    Quote:
Desire will leave you with desire.

Only according to your understanding. Not quite in Christianity. God answers our deepest desire with Himself because it was Him who placed that desire in the depth of our beings, in the first place.
We are wired for God. We were created for union with Him.

    I really liked that .
I tend to think about Peter Kreeft's essay " The argument from desire " all the time.
Perhaps because I live in an increasingly secularized world , where the only real basis of meaning is, or ever could be, man living for man.
Except of course that man can't live for himself.
To make a perfect world is impossible because man himself is imperfect. There's a big hole inside.
But that is the stated goal , and modern man has fallen for his own propaganda.
So it comes down to, " He who dies with the most toys wins " , but never mind that this won't work for millions , or even for the lucky elite either.

    So I think.

I think of you every day. I sorta have to. I pick up my Bible every day and it's my favorite because its yours so insta-reminder. ( well I don't think you ever even saw it but I think of it as yours. Strange logic. But so it is. ) I wonder how you are ?
But that's not much to put in a fan club letter. So have a nice day until whenever .

Your words, can I use them they make a good point.
Is that what we really think, that we know better than God who should and should not be WILLED INTO EXISTENCE.?

That is why contraception is not far off from abortion, eugenics, euthanasia, etc, etc. It is always a case of saying I/Me/Myself am god so will be the author of someone’s life and death.

HI Ben, your pictures are beautiful,I realy liked the 2004 one of you,and the picture of Rome all lite up is magnificent I have some, but not all glowing like a city of gold. I have decided to stay off the forums and to dedicate meself to study more at the youth sites and they can teach me alot. I get into to much trouble on the forum and I think before I open my mouth I should know how the church feels first.
I'll be around, but I cannot defend the church until I learn more of what I am doing. I know gunnapore is upset with me so I deleted all the threads I was on and only get messages from the children's groups and One I put in for I'm waiting to hear from. God Bless you and Cinnette. Love of Christ Nancy, Let gunnapore know, thank's Pslams 84
