Thank you Betsy. This site is filled with great people and content. Still getting my land legs. Signed up years ago, but just discovering it in earnest. Bless you and your family.

Thank you Betsy Okay I'll keep praying about that. It's hard, isn't it, when your husband isn't happy in his work. I ask the Lord to help him through until he gets the right job. God bless and help you too, as it's wearying to have such worries, and to feel pain for your man. God's kindest blessings to you both. A hug. Trishie

Welcome! And welcome to Baltimore to your daughter. I know that there are a couple of very good parishes near the airport, and our member marleelynn knows about them. I suggest you message her and ask her where Fr. DeAscanis is stationed - that will be the best parish - but I forget which one it is. There is a weekly Latin Tridentine Mass at St. Alphonsus Church on Park Avenue at Saratoga Street in downtown Baltimore. I think it's at 12:00 or 12:30 on Sunday. There is a weekly Ordinary Form Mass in Latin at the Basilica of the Assumption on Cathdral Street across from the library at 9:00 on Sundays. We have a wonderful Archbishop now, Abp. Edwin O'Brien. You can see what's happening in the Archdiocese at the website at www.archbalt.org.

If you go through Glen Burnie, like to the department of motor vehicles or something, be sure to eat at the Honeybee Diner on Ritchie Highway.

I'll be a visitor here. My daughter, age 23 in a few weeks will be moving to the Baltimore area. Since she left our home, southeastern Ohio, two years ago she has lived on VA's Eastern Shore and is currently just west of DC. She and her husband are looking for a home near that big airport south of Baltimore. Any practical advice on the area churches or anything else? Any Latin Masses available?
