In some circumstances, it is a good thing to stir things up. Swizzle sticks are used to stir things up, specifically, drinks. I seemed to be the only one with a conservative view on another site and I seemed to always be in conflict and stirred things up just by sharing my views. So, when I joined that site after posting as a guest for awhile, I chose the name. I just kept the same name here, though I probably should have chosen something else since a lot of views here are similar to mine and there is a lot less stirring by me going on here.

For those who have asked, I was thinking of this type of swizzle stick when I chose my user name,
