You're great! Thanks for the reply to the thread. Perfect.
Southern California, degree in horticulture. You wouldn't be old enough to remember the Alonso Nursery in Montebello, would you? My grandfather's place, where he grew camellias and callalilies for the florist trade.
Hi Gardenman, I'm a micro-gardener in Texas. Looking forward to when you open your group's forum. I have a group for Austin Catholics and have successfully set up the forum and some threads, so let me know if you want any tips on how to get yours rolling.
Hi, Gardenman! I just stumbled across the group "Catholic Gardeners." I have been champing at the bit to start gardening since Christmas. Have you considered creating a forum for the group? Spring is coming!!!
Hello, sorry it's been so long since I've sent you a message! How are you? What kind of gardening have you been doing in the Fall. Planting any tulips or other spring bulbs? My daughter was planting some very good looking 'French Tulip Bulbs' and I sure hope they come up next spring. She's new at the gardening game and I think she is doing pretty good. She is always wanting me there when she plants new ones but I'm not always able to do so. I give her what knowledge I have over the phone and pray for the very best. It is nice to go to her home during the growing season and see how things went for her in her planting! Her Smoke Tree grew well but now it does have spots on the leaves and I'm not sure what to do about this. Got any ans. for this problem?
I pray that all is well for you. May Our Lord Bless You in Everyway!!!
Hello Gardenman, I'm a grow anything type. I'm not the best gardener but I love it. I have roses, annuals and veggies. If I see dirt I seem to need to plant in it. I posted a picture of one flower garden in the catholic gardeners group. My latest adventure is going to be grapes. They look like they will be easy to grow but not as easy to keep them pruned correctly for the best fruit production. Oh I do better with plants than a lawn. My lawn is terrible this year. I think I have a fungis.
I hope you will be able to shar esome pictures with us.
