"23 Hours Dead" - Angelica Zambrano shown visions of Heaven and Hell
Has anyone read about the visions of a girl, who was clinically dead for 23 hours and shown visions of Heaven and Hell by Our Lord? Apparently she saw many famous people in Hell including Michael Jackson, and she saw Pope John Paul II in Hell as well.
Now, I have a problem with this. Apparently the reason why Pope John Paul II is in Hell (according to her vision, anyways), is because he slept with nuns and never preached about Hell? Is Jesus a liar? Blessed John Paul II never slept with nuns and DID preach about Hell! Then the part where she "sees" the Blessed Mother. Jesus "told" her that she has no knowledge of the happenings on earth.:confused::confused: What are your opinions on this girl's "revelation"? |

The segment of the OP that I have quoted seems indicative of less-than-total revelation. She was shown heaven, and hell, but not purgatory? If he never slept with nuns and did preach about hell, and was told the blessed Mother has no knowledge of the living history of earth, it seems unlikely she was given any information at all. I'm going to go as far as to suggest claims of clinical death are exaggeration. Such "visions" are common artefacts of a comatose dreaming-state, especially if the victim of the coma was a faithful person to begin with. Let's play a game of "Who am I going to believe?". Am I going to believe the young girl who had visions while comatose/clinically dead, or 2000 years of church history backed by scripture and Tradition, with unbroken lineage tracing back to the apostles of Christ themselves? (Footnote: It is possible I have a flawed understanding of purgatory. This post is entirely conjectural.) |

Total garbage, front to back. To impune the reputation of the Holy Father in such a way is beyond the pale. Angelica and her family need to be shown the door.

Re: "23 Hours Dead" - Angelica Zambrano shown visions of Heaven and Hell
Typical anti-Catholic rubbish! I read as far as where she saw the Pope, and then the diatribe how he was idolized and so rich. I had to LOL!
This was written by an Evangelical, as she identified herself. Maybe for a creative writing class? Although I didn't read all of it, it could not merit more than a "C". As to the poster who mentioned not seeing purgatory, they don't believe in it. I hope nobody wastes as much time as I did reading the first half. Unless, you want to learn that the Holy Spirit has feet. Yep! |
Re: "23 Hours Dead" - Angelica Zambrano shown visions of Heaven and Hell
All of Angelica's biases and misinformation came out in this so-called "revelation".
Lord have mercy! |

I just don't believe in these stories that people put out. When I was a kid a Catholic Mother insisted she saw an apparitions of the Virgin Mary in window and took us kids to see it, none of us saw anything. I'm just skeptical of all such claims and other claims about medical healing and such. :(

I pray no one is scandalized by this clearly false testimony. The things said about Catholics are glaringly wrong.
By contrast, if you want to hear an amazing story about someone seeing heaven, hell, and purgatory, may I suggest Marino Restrepo's testimony....just search for him on youtube. |

Re: "23 Hours Dead" - Angelica Zambrano shown visions of Heaven and Hell
I just watched this video where she talks about it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VOCGYjS5BZI
When she went down to Hell she saw a couple of celebrities, like Selena who is a famous Latin pop star. Then John Paul II and then Michael Jackson, who according to her, sold his soul to the devil to become famous and his moonwalk is the dance that the demons dance in Hell. Anyone who listens to his music will head to Hell. There was also an eight year old boy who was in Hell for watching Dragon Ball and similar cartoons. It seems like she just saw and was shown things a 17 year old from Ecuador would know about: Selena, Michael Jackson and Dragon Ball cartoons. "The Lord told me something that is very sad and very painful. He said, "Daughter, there are many children in this place because of animated cartoons, because of rebellion." In Heaven it was made clear that you can only get Salvation through Jesus. Mary knows nothing of what is going on on Earth, neither do the Saints. I didn't get this part but it sounded like Saints are Demons in disguise. In other words it's an Anti-Catholic Church "vision" Quote:

First of all, such things come under the heading of "Private revelation" and even if this were a case that had been investigated and approved by the Church, which it obviously has not, no catholic would be required to believe in it.
Second, This case has not been investigated by the Catholic Church or any other organized body with responsibility for the verification or debunking of such claims. In fact, I once asked on a protestant forum whether any of the protestant churches even DID any such investigating and the answer was "NO". Thus, in the protestant world, such claims as these, or "faith healers" etc - anything that might be called miraculous is either accepted or rejected by individuals without any help or oversight from their church Third, In quickly looking at the site where this is found, I saw nothing but testimonies listed. Nothing about who runs the site, their affiliation, how they verify these things (if indeed they make any attempt to do so). In short, I would not put any faith in this testimony or any other contained on that site. Peace James |
