Unhappy Re: Karl Keating's E-Letter of September 7, 2004 (Detroit Free Press)

I was very pleased to read the "voters guide for serious Catholics", and am very supportive of that information. But today in todays Detroit Freepress the headlines are "Catholics allowed pro-choice vote" - (supposedly announced by Cardinal Ratzinger). I am very disappointed and upset by this article. I cannot fathom how any christian could vote for a pro-choice candidate. It is in no way following God's command. (You shall not murder... Dt. 5:17, Rescue those being led to the slaughter... Pr. 24:11, .... whatever you did for the least of my brothers, you did for me. Mt.25:40)
Being pro-choice is not simply separating church and state. It is turning a blind eye to the truth of abortion. And now it appears as though the Church is allowing it???????
