Re: How much am I suppose to give?
As mentioned the expense for a parish are really high. I was shocked! Our average weekly expenses is $15, 590 for the month of November. I really don't know where all of it goes I've not been a regular parishioner. We are also raising money to build another church, but those receipts are separate.
I can't find it, but I'll try to get it next time, but we have a common prayer we say in our parish, and one line stands out "Give as we are able" it applies to money, time and talents.
