I wouldn't say it was on "my end"
but our server
was getting overloaded.
One side-effect: everybody kept hitting [Submit] multiple times thinking that the system was hung or not processing the request. In fact, all those submittals were being queued. I just deleted 17 duplicate posts from one thread.
In any event, it's all better now.
