HI!
I posted this on the "Good Grief" Forum and also wanted to let you know just in case you aren't in the other group: I just joined this forum and wanted to share a great resource for parents who have lost a baby: http://www.starofsea.ca/index-frames....htm~mainFrame My husband and I lost our precious baby boy Keaton last January. Keaton Dominic passed away in my womb just hours before his birth at 39.5 weeks gestation. I am at peace with his death as I know baby Keaton is in heaven and recently wrote a Mother's Day article that was featured in a local Catholic newspaper. I'm hoping it will also be published online and if it is, I can post it here if anyone is interested in reading it. Blessings, Donna |

Hi, my name is Rose. I have lost a baby girl nicknamed Meko when she was 8 months old in Feb. of 2008. After that, my husband and I tried to conceive and I had 2 miscarriages from May 2008 to July 2009. We tried again this time I sought the help of a Natural Family Planning instructor who referred me to a practicing NFP OB and we got pregnant successfully and we now have a one month old baby girl we named Hana. I thank God everyday for her. I'm also missing our first child very much who is now an angel watching over us. My husband and I joined a support grp. for grieving parents which we since left before the birth of my child. The support grp. helped us a lot. I am hoping to find support also in this forum. Thank you.

Dear Rose,
I'm so sorry to hear about baby Meko and your other two babies. Thank you for your message. I am happy to hear that you have a blessing named Hana and that NFP worked for you. I wanted to let you know the corrected link for the ministry above: http://www.morninglightministry.org Depending on where you live, there is also Elizabeth Ministry: http://www.elizabethministry.com It is hard to find Catholic resources, but there are some. I have had my son's name written in the book of life at The Church of Holy Innocents. It is nice to know that people pray for our babies there: http://www.innocents.com/shrine.asp We also attended a support group, but funding is no longer available so I'm just meeting with other moms on an informal basis and this has helped a lot. Thanks again for your message. My prayers are with you, Dominic's Mama |
