Arrow St. Terese of Lisieux

I truly believe god sent St. Terese of Lesiux (I'm sure I spelled that wrong)to save me. From her blessings I converted to catholism. She has actually sent me two times roses from heaven. The first time I knew nothing of catholism or of her. The first time she sent me roses was the first time, I ever walked into a catholic church with my then new boyfriend. When I walked in I said oh it smells like beauitul roses. My boyfriend a cradle catholic looked at me in amazement and said he didn't smell anything and began to tell me the beautiful blessing I had received from Heaven. There were no flowers of anykind in the entrance of the church, and the smell was so strong and unmistakably undeniable.I believe I was granted a miracle from heaven to bring me closer to god. I got a hungry fire to learn more about god. I went through the rcia and became catholic, the more I learn of the catholic teachings the more the crazy world makes sense. When I received this miracle a second time under personal circumstances, I was curious as to why flowers? I prayed about it and came across st. Terese of Lisuex, and found that she promised to throw flowers from heaven. St. Burnadet I found also does this. I wasn't sure which saint was calling to me until last month I went and visited the church that I had first walked into and smelled the roses.(This is not the church my now husband and I attend.) When I went to the adoration room I was absolutely amazed to find a life sized statue of St. Terese of Lisuex. When I looked into her eyes I was mesmerized and knew at that moment that it was her that had sent me these heavenly graces. I've since studied her life and I ask for her intercession, and I feel fondly close to her. I'm not sure why she chose me, but I know this saint wanted to save me. The life sized statue pictures are shown below. Before these experiences I wasn't sure if I even believed in god, now my faith is strong and I want so much to be more saintly like the saint that has chosen me. I teach catechism now and I work closely within the church. I really hope that from my experience others will see and believe, in my little miracle. Please share your saint encounters here!

Hi all! My most favorite saint is St. Francis of Assisi for his unceasing devotion to Our Lord in the Eucharist and his very simple way of life. Also, we share a love of animals. ? I also love St. Therese of Lisieux, St. Maximilian Kolbe, St. Clare of Assisi, and Archbishop Fulton Sheen. Ok, the last one is not a saint (yet!) but he is being investigated for sainthood.
The more I learn of St. There's's life the more I admire her devotion to god!

Invocations to St. Therese

O Little Flower of Jesus, ever consoling troubled souls with Heavenly graces,in your unfailing intercession I place my confident trust. From the heart of Our Blessed Savior petition these blessings of which I stand in greatest need (mention here). Shower upon me your promised roses of virtue and grace, dear St. Therese, so that swiftly advancing in sanctity and in perfect love of neighbor, I may someday receive the crown of life eternal. Amen

I just started reading "A Story of a Soul" the english translated version written by St. Therese, I completely reccomend it already, I started to cry from the overwhelming beauty and depth of love for god. Its truly something you must read. Has anyone else read this?

Therese the Little Flower is my best girlfriend in heaven. I first learned about her my first year of high school, she was the patron of our band. Everyone was crazy about her. I thought she was a really amazing woman, but that was the end of it. I didn't pray to her except when we did with the band. I kind of shoved her aside. I rediscovered her when I was not thinking about her. I was having some anxiety and mental problems. I was scared, crying, and afraid. I was flipping through my agenda at school, and this quote came up:
"Be not Afraid to tell Jesus that you love Him. This is way the way to oblige Him to help you, and carry you like a little child too feeble to walk." --St Therese of Liseaux
I carried it with me, and I prayed and prayed. And things were ok. I later read her book, Story of a Soul, and cried. She is so beautiful. We have so much in common, and we went through similar things. She always answers my prayers. Therese looks out for me from heaven, and she is always there for me. She is my heavenly girlfriend. I can't wait to meet her

Just remembered another St. T story!

I injured my knees when I was in band. I went to the doctors, took medicine, but there was nothing much more I could do. I asked St. Therese to help me make it through my performance because I was in pain. I did not hurt at all, I felt so strong. After, I found a small little blossom on the ground

I go to St Theresa of Lisieux Parish in Ashburn, VA. We have a prayer to her to intercede for the parish. She was an incredible saint who endured many hardships in her life on her path to God. It is a testament to her willpower that she overcame her troubles and became an example for all of us to follow.

St. Therese pray for me in my times of pain and suffering , pray for strength, and to a quick end to the hurt. I trust in your intercession because I've seen your strong faith work in my life before. Thank you so much my heavenly friend.

HI
I've just joined the group. I am a cradle Catholic that went away for quite some time--even then I always had a great love of the saints--I devoured their lives as a child and that knowledge remains with me as a comfort today--I have returned to the church and speak to my favorites often just to talk and for help in my life --I often ask them to help my son--some of my favorites are: my patron St. St Therese--other favorites are the Blessed Mother, St Michael, St Joan, St. Francis of Assisi, St Jude, St. Teresa of Avila, St Edith (Teresa) Stein, St Benedict Joseph,St Augustine, St. Joseph and many more--thank you for the group and your lovely conversion story
Blessings

St. Therese is credited with two spontaneous cures that medical science was unable to explain, prior to her beatification. In 1916, Sr. Louise of St. Germain was cured of stomach ulcers which she had suffered from for three years. The second miracle was the case of Charles Anne, a 23-year old seminarian who was near death from advanced pulmonary tuberculosis. Charles prayed to St. Therese as he lay dying. Later, he was examined by a doctor who proclaimed that Charles' lungs seemed to have been replaced by new lungs. Therese was beatified as a result of these two miracles. She was now called "Blessed Therese."

Two additional miracles followed. A woman from Parma, Italy, named Gabrielle Trimusi, who suffered from arthritis of the knee, as well as tubular lesions on her vertebrae, was spontaneously cured. The final documented miracle happened to a Belgium woman, Maria Pellemans, who suffered from pulmonary tuberculosis which had spread to her intestines (the same illness Therese died from). Maria visited Therese's grave, and after returning and being examined by her doctor, was found to be completely cured, and all symptoms had disappeared. Two other doctors had previously confirmed the first doctor's diagnosis before Maria visited Therese's grave. After these miracles were investigated and approved by the Church, Therese was officially canonized a saint by Pope Pius XI on May 17, 1925, a mere 28 years after her death at the age of 24.

St. Therese of Lisieux was a Carmelite, right? If she is the one that I am thinking of then I must say that I do love what I hear about this saint. I am not sure if I know a whole awful lot about her though.

She is also my favorite saint, and one I've looked to when I've had a rough patch in my life so I can over come it.

One of my best friends said to, you know she (Therese) is listening.... That I know is true.
