Donate for Independent Pathologist

Is there some way we can send a donation to the Schindlers so they can hire an independant coroner and pathologist to be present at the autopsy?

BTW, I know Terri's not dead (and hopefully something will save her) but if she does die there won't be time to donate then.

When she dies there will be a whirlwind autopsy and it will be difficult or impossible for an independant coroner and pathologist to gain access.

Rastell. Bang on idea! The easiest way to do this is to contact the friendly media. Brad has the contacts. And I think some of them are here under 'things we can do':

The first thing to do is to make sure the Schindlers have their own pathologist in the examination room. I wouldn't use the term 'independent' because Florida is going to claim that their examiner is independent. We need a 'check and balance' examiner, a representative of the Schindlers.

Once the first goal is achieved, the money will flow.

Can you get on contacting the press? I am still busy up here trying to get a statement out my Cardinal. International pressure is also important.

Good thing is, I read in an article this morning that the ME wants to do an autopsy because there are allegations that it is not a natural death. The ME's office has come out saying that it's not Michael's decision on whether or not to have an autopsy, so I'm hopeful that these are positive signs that they are not in Michael's camp.

I started a thread on the medical research regarding IQ not being a function of brain size and that dehydration causes false results on brain autopsy.

Please, we need to be sure it's a pathologist or medical examiner. A coroner does not even have to be a doctor. Many of them are undertakers.
I say this only because we want to be sure that we know what is being done & who is doing it. And what they know.
And I am not giving up on Terri yet. Not till the last possible second.

On top of that, let's contact CNN and ask them to send Dr Sanjay Gupta into the autopsy room. Let us have a daily report from him from the autopsy room. He is a neurosurgeon. He is qualified. Let it out into the light.

Let's make sure Dr Gupta has the English research first though. I am going to email right now. Who is going to join me?

I just emailed Dr Sanjay Gupta and asked him to get into the autopsy room if it comes to that. I also asked him to look at the English research and report on that.

If you are really serious about pursuing this issue, wouldn't you like to have a nationally recognized expert in a pertinent discipline like forensic pathology--with training, experience and expertise in forensic autopsies to stand in?!?! As far as I am aware Dr. Gupta is a neurologist.

1) The Medical Examiner has been chosen. He is the Chief Medical Examiner for the 6th District Pinellas Park, Florida. He has to follow a set protocol.

2) Medical experts have advised the Schindlers to have an expert observer in the autopsy room.

3) Dr Gupta is indeed a neurosurgeon. He is also a journalist.

4) The law must not only be just, but it must be seen to be just. (Old common law axiom)

5) Therefore both a Schindler expert and the press must be in the autopsy room.

None of the above addresses my original question. If you claim to want an independent expert to observe/participate/evaluate the legitimacy of the proposed autopsy, wouldn't it make sense to have someone who was at least qualified to render a valid opinion?! Wouldn't that mean a forensic pathologist? How does Dr. Gupta, of all people, advance your interests--or is it just publicity for publicity's sake?
