Default quick question on Our Lady of Fatima

one of the things that happen during Mary's to the the three portugese children was the dancing sun at the end of the apparitions themselves
its beautiful but couldnt a protestant argue from revealation when it speaks about beast decieving people with great signs in the sky

Default Re: quick question on Our Lady of Fatima

Unless such a person ruled out the possibility of God sending any signs in the sky at all (which Scripture does not do), then the only left to conclude is that when a prodigy in the sky is observed, one must discern whether it is from God or not. Even Jesus predicted the sign of the Son of Man would appear in the sky:

Quote:
“Then will appear the sign of the Son of Man in heaven." (Mt 24:30
So the question is: is it a true sign or is it a false sign?

Since it is impossible for the average Christian to make such a determination (very much like it is impossible for an individual to definitively define a passage of Scripture), then a competent authority must make that determination.

There is no other recognized authority on earth that has the competence and the charism to make this determination but the Catholic Church.

I am not sure what you are asking. We have warnings in Revelation about being deceived by the beast but the beast's purpose is to make us stray from the Lord's Will and Mother Mary only brings us closer to Him. Her prophecies and messages have proven to be true; they are authentic and recognized by the authority of the Holy Church with the utmost scrutiny as is custom.

I suppose this is like the pharisees who accused Jesus of performing miracles through the power of satan. This is a matter for the true believers and not those who do not accept the messages from Our Beloved Mother who comes to us in the Name of the Lord.

This is my humble opinion. God Bless
