The Acta of John Paul II

I have a question about the beatification procedure of pope John Paul II. Are the so-called 'acta', the findings of the theological inquiry, a part of the public domain or are they secret?

I am no authority on this, but I remember that when St Mary MacKillop (Australia's first saint) was canonised recently, the lady who had received the second miracle required for canonisation (she had been cured of lung cancer) made her case public, whereas previously it had not been in the public domain. Eventually the woman who received the first miracle also went public. I guessed from this that that details of the investigation are not normally in the public domain.
