Terris parents finally know where she is
Felos Says Remains of Terri Schiavo Interred in Clearwater
"Departed this Earth February 25, 1990".
"At Peace March 31, 2005"
“I Kept My Promise”
That’s the inscription on the tombstone at the gravesite of Theresa Marie Schindler-Schiavo with a white dove emblazened in the center of the stone.

Re: Terris parents finally know where she is
I'm not sure what I feel more right now. Happiness that her parents know, or disgust at Michael for violating another judge's order by not telling them before the memorial service and for the inscription on the headstone.

He didn't keep his promise to be "faithful until death do us part."

I share your sentiments completely.

Re: Terri's parents finally know where she is
Michael Schiavo finally let Terri's family know where she's buried. I can not even type what I really think of the headstone inscription or the mods really would notice me (and not in a good way).

I can not speak my mind freely about that either,it was something he did to further rub it in the Schindlers face A mockery sort of like that smirk on his face in the picture

I'll bet Mother Angelica has a few choice words about this whole situation. She really knows how to tell it like it is and avoid vulgar language. Too bad she can not speak, I really would like to hear her point of view on this and her blasting Michael Schiavo, his lawyers, and Judge Greer among others.
The inscription does insult Terri's family. Even on Terri's tombstone, Michael Schiavo remains self-centered (his twisted view on when Terri's life "ended" and his mention of that sick "promise" he made).

Re: Terris parents finally know where she is
Michael Schiavo really is predictable isn't he?
If it is true that he is trying to fight this public image he has earned - as that of a heartless monster...then he could have done the unexpected.
He could have told her parents of the service and burial.
He could have avoided a permanent slap in the face with that inscription.
But no...he proceeds to show that he is exactly what he claims he is not.

Re: Terris parents finally know where she is
That man is disgraceful. To use a woman's TOMBSTONE to try to justify killing her is the ultimate in hypocrisy. The only thing that gives me peace is knowing that Judge Greer isn't going to be reviewing Michael Schiavo's life when he takes his last breath.

Re: Terris parents finally know where she is
That tombstone is just GROSS! All I can think of are 2 things- "You insisted on knowing where she is- here you go . And the other- you can read my epitaph every day for the rest of your lives !"
-Notice- he had her interred in Florida instead of Pennsylvania as he said he would initially, I think that was his was of having one last slap- "Visit her grave and remember ME and what I did to your daughter !"
DISCUSTING!!!!!

Re: Terris parents finally know where she is
As usual, when I am upset about Terri Schindler, I can come here and be validated in my thoughts. I have been grateful for this forum for three months, now. Thank you for being here.
I saw this notice on another forum and the first thing I thought was that this self-serving piece of $*&# had the temerity to continue his political posturing and self-defense on her very tombstone.
Terri did NOT depart this earth in 1990, Mr. Schiavo!
She was very much here and present with family and friends until her faithless husband succeeded in having her tortured to death.
She was "beloved." But she was not the beloved wife of Michael Schiavo. She was beloved of her family and friends and all of us who had our hearts broken time and time again in her cause.
His cruelty and ego-mania appears to know no bounds.
I am very grateful that at least her parents and family have a place to "visit" her. I still pray for them and for all of us who have not yet seen what good will come of this horrible murder. Lord, I believe - help my unbelief. So much sorrow and pain from this senseless act. I trust that there is a better plan than I could ever come up with at work, here. I guess I'm just impatient and unable to accept or see what it is. I can't get past the pain of this, yet.
