Default What is the church teaching on gambling?

I enjoy playing poker at casinos, card rooms, private parties, etc. While the stakes are significant at times, I'm at peace with my own situation, that I'm playing for fun competition. Most often I lose what I cashed in and go home. I dont have an addiction and my losses are commensurate with the entertainment value I received for playing.

Sometimes I win significant amounts from people I don't know. I can't tell if they are also there for fun or have a gambling problem which would mean I'm encouraging an unhealthy act and taking home money they need to live on.

What is my moral obligation regarding other players? Also, how do we draw the line between small stakes fun games and bets which have moral concern?

Thanks for your help?
