I wanted my account deleted but that is not possible so I would like some of my posts and threads to be deleted please.

If the posts violate forum rules, you could use the report button (

). However, moderators normally leave things alone unless there is a serious breach.

If you would like to participate in the forums and don't want old "baggage" potentially interfering, you could simply open a new account and abandon the old one.

Thank you for the reply, I reported them both. I do not like searching my username on google and it seeing it link to every single post I made. I do not wish to make a new account; all I wanted was for past posts to not be viewed so easily.

CAF threads tend to rank high in Google search results. If you are concerned about your posts being visible to outsiders who search for your username, you may seriously want to consider picking a different username.

Actually, having a different username for various sites is healthy practice if you want to protect your privacy. Many companies compile databases on individuals using information gleaned from the internet. These databases are then used for commercial purposes, either by the company itself or by selling it to another company. Having the same username in multiple locations makes the process of compiling personal information about you much easier.

Thank you for the information. Actually, this is a new name for me and I try to use different ones for other places, but I didn't think it would be so easy to see all my posts listed on google. I'm just a little obsessive I guess that's all. I will still post here but will try to be more careful.

Although your question has been answered, this thread isn't useless. Other people here will have similar questions and concerns. They may find this thread, and learn from it.
