Default Body/Muscles extremely exhausted in morning, hard to get out of bed

Hi,

I just need a prayer for some bodily ills. Almost every morning when I wake up, my body is extremely exhausted. It feels like my muscles were drained of all oxygen every night, especially if I have some vivid dreams during the night. It becomes immensely difficult to get out of bed sometimes. One thing I need to do is find some exercise and regular physical activity, especially for my back and abdominal muscles. I would really like to find some sort of group physical or athletic or sports activity that I can do for fun and just to give my body more energy and get the oxygen and everything flowing through the muscles and cardiovascular organs and blood vessels etc. Please pray that I can find some group athletic or physical exercise activity that is convenient for my schedule. I do a lot of walking, but I need something more, and I think I would be more likely to stick with something if it were done in a group or sport or athletic type context.

Also, I think I've heard that massage therapy can help get oxygen flowing to muscles. I don't know if this would be beneficial at all. If it is, let me know. If you don't know, please pray for me to be able to find out and where might there be a good practitioner. Every morning almost my back is in an extreme discomfort, and I want to know if massage would be helpful for it. I mean it is not painful, like a sharp pain or anything, but it does cause a real agony that often makes it difficult for me to get moving during the day.

Thank you for any prayers to help me find suitable physical activity or therapies for this muscle exhaustion I am experiencing.

Joshua

Have you had an official diognosis? It sounds like you could be suffering from chronic fatigue syndrome and or Fibromylagia.Of course this is just my opinion,so take it for what it is worth. However, maybe a physical with blood work would give you some answers. Also, just plain walking can do a lot to get your blood flowing, the lypmphtic system engaged.Prayers that you find an answer and return to good health,

That is what came to mind for me too...I'm not sure of forum rules so I didn't say. There are people out here who understand those issues. PM me if you like, joshrp.

I don't know how muscles drained of oxygen feels, but I used to wake up so achey I thought I could hardly move, bit after I got going, the acheyness would go away. I read that nightshades could aggravate athritis and altho not sure if I have arthritis, I cut all nightshades (tomatoes, potatoes, peppers, eggplant, etc) and after about 3 weeks it stopped. I can tolerate tomatoes now, but potatoes will still send me over the edge again.

Medical advice is disallowed on the forum; but I'd suggest you get thee to a doctor as soon as is convenient.

And get educated! For fibromyalgia, the average duration before diagnosis is 5-8 years. Learning about possible illnesses makes communicating with doctor a lot simpler.

There is also absolutely nothing wrong with praying for healing, but be sure to unite your suffering with Christ in the meantime!

If your limbs were lacking in oxygen I don't think it'll be a doctor you'll need....

Also, you would be severely short of breath and be on the verge of passing out unconscious as well as having blue lips if you were low on oxygen.

Don't trust the intenet or your own self-diagnosis (which is very flawed, lack of oxygen? really?). See a doctor.

However, if by lack of oxygen you mean the feeling you get after exercise (lactic acid) which is dissolved by oxygen, then it makes sense, but that is not a lack of oxygen rather a need for it. Deep breaths and rest solves that.

Actually, our bodies have a pretty good reserve capacity for oxygenation, but there would be other signs beyond aching limbs, if that were the issue.

Aren't lack of oxygen and oxygen need the same??

There may be sleep problems affecting body as well. If your area has a sleep clinic, see if your Doc can get you an appointment there.

... "reserve capacity"? Nothing you've just said contradicts me. If you stopped breathing you'd have enough oxygen to keep you alive without the risk of brain damage for perhaps 5 minutes. Not amazing. And yes, I detailed those signs. Aching limbs however is NOT one of them. Shortness of breath, cyanosis and eventual unconsciousness are. There is nothing in the OP's description of symptoms which indicate low oxygen levels are causing their symptoms.

No. For example - I need oxygen every day but apart from once during a swimming pool I have never suffered a lack of it.

Lord, may Joshua find a remedy to his problem. Please help him. Mother Mary, please make your intentions in this matter come true. Amen.
