I know we can give an extra Easter donation to our parish on Easter, do you guys do anything special for the head pastor or parochial vicar or the nuns in the parish? I'd like to give them something for all their hard work but am wondering what is suitable, thanks.
Well, in my diocese, we have the Annual Catholic Appeal, which supports Catholic Charities, Catholic school tuition scholarships, retired priests, and poorer parishes, among many other charitable endeavors. These are common, and they may have one in your diocese too. These are usually run during the Lenten season and go through Easter and Pentecost.
