What must she do to return to the Church after divorce?
My friend of many years was a cradle Catholic. She was married in the Church and then for many reasons (abuse,mental illness etc.) received an annullment from her first marriage. She then married 2 more times, but not in the Catholic Church. She is now divorced from both of these husbands and currently not married.
Can she return to the Catholic Church and receive the Eucharist? I have recently returned to the church and have been talking with her about the peace and fullment I have found there. And if she could return to the Catholic Church, what steps would she need to take?
