If you only commit venial sins, do you ever need to go to Confession?
Hi. If one has only venial sins, he or she may still take Communion, and the Catechism states that "1416 Communion with the Body and Blood of Christ increases the communicant's union with the Lord, forgives his venial sins, and preserves him from grave sins." Therefore, if one commits only venial sins, does he or she never need to go to confession, since his or her sins are forgiven through Communion?
