Default Should I receive Communion?

Here we go...I tend to be scrupulous, and this morning while at Mass I thought about a sin that I had confessed a while back, but I'm afraid that I didn't include sufficient details that would've increased the gravity of the sin. At the time of my confession, I didn't think about this but now it's bothering me. I know my confession was valid since I didn't intentionally hold back something, but should I wait until I mention it again-in more detail-before going to comminion again??

Default Re: Should I go to Communion?

Dear friend,

Yes, receive Holy Communion. You are scrupling. You confessed the sin. Let go of it. People with scruples cannot afford to go back over the past. Trust in the Lord's infinite lover for you.

Fr. Vincent Serpa, O.P.
