Re: Rosary Mp3's
Greg and Jennifer Wilits of Rosary Army have created 4 mp3 files of the Rosary mysteries, Glorious, Luminous, Sorrowful, Joyful.
Here's the link to the page they are on.
Scroll down to the mp3 files which were archived on Oct 5th, 2005.

Re: Rosary Mp3's
Does anyone know where the I can download free mp3 files of the rosary for my iPod?
Apparently, the RosaryArmy files cannot be saved in iTunes.
Other suggestions?

Re: Rosary Mp3's
EWTN has audio files of the Rosary and other devotions. Maybe those can be saved on iTunes.

Dear Randy,
On the site, ourladylightofthewoods.org, there is a free download of the Divine Mercy Chaplet and the Rosary if you enter the site and go to the Holy Music page. There are also instructions for different systems on how to download it.
I am still recording the mysteries, they are contemplative, but also tell the story of the mystery, and I wish they were all done, but they aren't yet. So far, the first Joyful Mystery is done and half of the second, which I have not posted yet.
At this time, I haven't been able to get the Hail Marys and Glory be on the site yet, but I can e-mail them to you. It takes two mp3 files to cover the whole decade of Hail Marys. Once you have these files you can just duplicate them 5 times and at least you will have that part covered. Also for the Divine Mercy, contemplative version, you may want to use the Our Father and Hail Marys to cover the introduction, I haven't put that on the site yet either.
We have a small recording operation here in Taos, New Mexico and it is our heart that all souls would listen to and pray the Rosary very slowly and with intention as Our Lady has requested in approved apparitions around the world.
The mysteries and prayers are recorded with harp, strings, flute, and a multitude of sound effects to help us enter into the mystery. Hope you enjoy them.

I had no trouble at all loading them into iTunes or transferring them onto my iPod. They worked just like any other downloaded music files.

Re: Rosary Mp3's
Randy,
If you already use iTunes, the easiest way to get the Willitses' recordings into your iPod is to subscribe to Rosary Cast.
Message me if that doesn't work, and I'll try to get more details.

Re: Rosary Mp3's
If you do a search in the Itunes store you can find some free podcasts of the rosary. Do a search for rosary or latin rosary.

You should be able to bypass i-tunes
Simply hook up the ipod to a USB port on your computer (mp3 players usually shows up as a 'removable disk' - click on it to see the files in it to be sure you know which one is your ipod)
then download the music files onto your computer and copy them to the ipod.
That's how most other mp3 players (in my humble experience) work.

Re: Rosary Mp3's
Thanks for the kind words about the Rosary MP3s we made available on Rosary Army's website. Just to let you know, this week we added 4 new MP3s of the Scriptural Rosary for all 4 sets of Mysteries. They can be downloaded from Rosary Army's website ( http://www.RosaryArmy.com) or for SQPN.com, here: http://www.sqpn.com/?p=2058
Enjoy!

Re: Rosary Mp3's
Keep your eye out for the iRosary. No kidding! Until then:
1. Pray the Rosary With Me is great. Download the MP3s into your iTunes library. With or without meditations, navigation on the left of the page.
2. Downloads and podcasts from the Cafeteria is Closed.
3. Franciscan University of Steubinville has Fr. Hite and Eva Hite recite the scriptural rosary.
4. Downloads from the Catholic iPod here.
5. Rosary Army downloads here.
6. Put "Rosary" in the iTunes search bar, and then sort by price. There are several free ones there at the moment, including Pray The Rosary by Don Crescenzo, the Latin Rosary from WCVC AM, and one free podcast of the scriptural rosary in French!
7. Rosary in Latin from Radiovatican.
8. Real life Rosary download here, the " Basics."
9. Order a free CD from CatholiCity that you can put in your iTunes.
10. Pay for downloads or CDs such as www.therosary.info or the Rosary hour with JPII, or Gretchen Harris.
11. Download the single prayers in MP3 and build your own playlist (for example, here they are in Latin (includes the full Glorious Mysteries), in Vietnamese, and Tagalog).
12. From EWTN (These are Real Audio, not MP3s): a. EWTN's International Rosary A beautiful recitation of the Holy Rosary set to music. b. Rosary for Life Join EWTN for a special pro-life recitation of the Rosary from Our Lady of the Angels Chapel in Irondale, Alabama. c. The Holy Rosary with Mother Angelica and the Nuns of Our Lady of the Angels Monastery Hosted by Mother Angelica and her sisters d. The Holy Rosary with the Nuns e. The Rosary in the Holy Land Hosted by Fr. Mitch Pacwa f. The Scriptural Rosary The Holy Rosary with readings from Sacred Scripture

Re: Rosary Mp3's
I was looking out for the holy rosary in portuguese. I've come across some pdfs and web pages where you could find it in writing, but I was looking for audio files?
Does anyone know any place where I could get them from?
