You don't go out on Friday night?
What you normally do on Friday night?
At my church, the Young Adult Legion of Mary has praying time on Friday night, so that is about what I do. ..now, I am stuck here on CAF.

Re: You don't go out on Friday night?
Friday night? We sit in the studio at Saint Michael's Media and take calls from people watching the show as it airs in Fresno and Brooklyn (see my signature).
Tonight I made dinner here in the studio kitchen for the three of us, my husband, and Mike Voris, the host of the show and president of the apostolate. We had a wonderful dinner, and now we are waiting for the phones to ring from Fresno! We are just about to go into the first break of the show....so soon they will ring!
Hey - it's not a glamorous Friday night, but it's not out clubbin' either.

wow! what a meaningful night for you, your husband, and Mike! The website is great. I will check it out often.
I need to fix my computer. The sound card doesn't work.
God bless you for your works!

We are so incredibly blessed to be doing what we do here, sometimes I have to pinch myself. I only wish I could work here full time, but someone has to carry the health insurance, and non-profits aren't exactly busting at the seams with benefits (well, worldly ones anyway ).
Thanks water! Glad you are enjoying the site! Get that sound card fixed and then you can listen to the podcasts!

Re: You don't go out on Friday night?
Well, last Friday night I was in confession, came home and watched TV, ate dessert and went to bed. Tonight I went out to eat with my family, went to a play at my former high school (Senior Show, and I know people who are in it. It was really good too) and came home to cruise CAF and myspace. Two Friday nights ago I was at a friend's house because he wanted me to watch Rent.
So yeah, I'm pretty lame on Friday nights too.

Re: You don't go out on Friday night?
Before I came back to the Church, Friday nights for me was all about KARAOKE!! (and other things associated with it).
Now, it's dinner with the family, watching a DVD or tv, and on First Fridays, Mass and fellowship.
Much happier now!

Talking about Karaoke, I was addicted to it. I spent average about 1 to 2 hours singing and practicing. I only sing well in Vietnamese though.
Anyhow, after my "conversion of heart", I quit singing those heart-breaking songs and spending more time with praying, etc..

Re: You don't go out on Friday night?
We're pretty tired by Friday night, so kids, hubby, and I usually stay home and hang out here. Maybe watch a movie together, go for a walk, play with the kitties, etc.

By the time I get home from work, it's generally too late to do anything other than make a quick dinner, and go to bed.

Same as every other night. Cook dinner, get the kids fed, bathed, and into jammies, put them to bed, and collapse into bed myself after chasing them all day. Fun, huh? But I wouldn't trade it for the world!

Re: You don't go out on Friday night?
DH works late every other night of the week, but comes home on time on Fridays. We go out to a nice dinner at a restaurant that has decent meatless entrees (just found a great place for a panfried rainbow trout last night - mmm, delicious with mac'n'cheese and stewed tomatoes on the side!), then come home and watch Law and Order together. When the weather gets hot, we'll stop at Rita's for an Italian ice on the way home. Big time fun!

Re: You don't go out on Friday night?
Friday night means decompressing from my work week. Decompressing means applying my flannel-clad zadnitsa to my fabric-covered recliner
