New Feature Proposal
At present, there is an icon on each thread which indicates those threads in which I have posted a comment.
Unfortunately, if I post early in a thread (say post #5) and there are 350 posts after mine, I still see that same icon even though I may no longer be interested in following the thread.
What OUGHT to happen is that when I log on, I see an icon next to each thread in which someone has responded to my post by quoting it.
This way, I would be able to scan all the threads in a forum quickly and respond to those people who have quoted or responded specifically to me.
The "View First Unread" feature is helpful as a bookmark for following along in lengthy threads when you need to pick up where you left off a day or two ago, but it does not provide the specific capapbility of finding comments directed specifically to me.
I hope this is sufficiently clear; if not, PM me. I would love to see this capability added.
BTW, I would also like the ability to use a yellow or green highlighter function to emphasize a passage of text as is possible in Microsoft Word.
