Ban on discussing potential converts
I was recently made aware of a rule against discussing public figures who may be converting - this appears to be a new rule from April or so.
Due to the prominence of a particular international figure in this situation, it seems to me a rather fitting subject for news forums on a Catholic message board. However, there are obviously factors I'm not considering.
What is the rationale for the rule?
